Time and Philosophy Johan Mekkes

In the first of the two essays in this volume, "Time," Mekkes deals with the views of Aristotle, Bergson, and Einstein, and tries to find an answer to the question how we humans, taken up by universal time, will live our historical lives with the power of the Spirit. In the second essay, "Time for Reflection," Mekkes looks back at forty years of reformational Christian philosophy. He makes many critical observations, but as always, he speaks from the heart and to the heart with the intention of bringing heart and mind in line with "the Master."
