Acts and Intentions
Pianta
The intents and motives underlying actions or events-whether personal or global- are complicated. These poems, among them, "The Fires," "Uchinanchu," and "Acts and Intentions," grapple with events that feel irreconcilable, unknowable, and at times, miraculous. Pianta is a writer and editor whose work has appeared in journals such as Nimrod International, Adirondack Review, Ekphrasis, Terrain.org, and Bamboo Ridge Press.
