IT?S LIFE AT THE BOOKSTORE --- FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF THE BOOKS! Set in Sanders and Bowman Bookstore, newly arrived novel Spy Needle is place alongside the beautiful love story River Runs True. The two ?covermates? share their hopes, their plans, and their achievements at they interact with fellow books and their beloved staff. Spy quickly gains a reputation as a supreme storyteller, entertaining his comrades with the comical escapades of Sonny Needle, his main character. The book community band together with ingenious attempts to place self help books ito the hands of several troubled employees. Along the way the books laugh, love and cry their way through triumph and disaster. In this satirical view of the publishing industry, Jamie Johnson?s literary characters take a humorous swipe at the conglomerates who control their destiny. In taking on the publishing titans, the books ultimately expose the abundant faults of a misguided human race.
