The Cats in the Shack by Krysia Andrzejczak uses rhyming verses to tell the story of homeless cats who find refuge in an abandoned shack. This 44 pp softcover book features water color illustrations by the author. The cats become a metaphor for people who struggle with poverty and homelessness.
