Daydreams is a book of poems, stories, and drawings. The book is divided into four parts: Morning, Noon, Evening, and Man. The first three parts are about the physical, mental, and spiritual; and the fourth part is about modern life (and death). Ultimately, it is the story of many men becoming One: a young Buddhist learning to meditate, an obsessed lover in the throes of passion, a psychotic philosopher losing touch with reality, an adult fighting to maintain his childhood curiosity, an American businessman in search of meaning, an artist chasing after her masterpiece, and an old man afraid of dying.
