This is a collection of short, personal stories that just happen to be poems. Stories about navigating marriage and parenthood. About navigating emotional abuse. Stories that say all the things we're not supposed to say. Stories that needed to be told anyway. Stories written in heartache as a way of healing. Stories written to make love tangible. This is also a collection of original photographs taken by the author with her phone as she moved through her days, noticed how her children were growing, sought beauty in the mundane, and found moments of love in chaos. Together the images and stories paint a complex picture of one woman's search for her own definition of motherhood and the sound of her own voice.
