From the men who fired the flares to signal the Bombers to begin takeoff... to the crash trucks and rescue crews who waited for their return... to the Nurses who took care of the wounded Airmen on return, this book illustrates all of this and more. This book is dedicated to the men and women who served there during the War. It is in their honor and to their memory this book is dedicated.
