With no complex activities, and the use of only circular shapes, these colouring pages were made to t help not only calm, focus and relax those using it, but encourage the appropriate mental patterns required for children. Although the book is in no way literacy or numeracy based - it is often found that activities that do not directly involve your child's disorder, but instead help to stimulate mental processes are often as important as those that directly affect your child.

Each page is repeated a number of times throughout the course of the colouring book, which allows parents or carers to clearly see process from the start of the book to the end of the book. Although pages are not ranked in order of complexity, the repetition of pages throughout the book will allow clear patterns of improvement to be observed by family, friends and carers.

It should be noted that different children will have different levels of success with each new activity. Some will love colouring in and enjoy this book, while others may not be successful. It is important as a parent or carer to understand what will work for your child - and then continue to offer those tasks or activities to your child. If you have had success with colouring in the past - or have yet to try it, then this book is definitely for you! If your child has not enjoyed colouring in the past - then it is unlikely this book will make much difference, and perhaps it is not correct for your child.
