From birth, Grave was destined to be the hero of his city, but destiny doesn't really matter when giant burning monsters come down to destroy everything they see. After all, why should anyone be afraid of titanic sized terrors when you have a cool glowing scythe to spin around?But the world is pretty big, and Grave has no idea what he's doing. Along the way he'll stumble into some help: a swordswoman whose attitude is almost as sharp as her blade, a magical panda that likes to burn things, a batty girl with her own eyes on the throne, and probably a few other oddballs too. Together with a rag-tag bunch of rejects he will face the challenges of the world and refuse to back down. Evil men in dark outfits? Dragons? Ghostly monstrosities with the power to rip the world in half and bury it in a blanket of fire? Bring it on! To Grave, these are simply markers on his path to greatness. But if he ever wants to see his destiny become real, he'll have to fight to become a hero.
