Instead, on that particular day, a girl is born and the beloved queen dies in childbirth. The girl is labeled a curse, an omen of bad things to come. That girl was Kara. She grew up hated and despised, shunned by the very people of her nation. Elsewhere, the nation of Numera has gone on the warpath. They have conquered every other nation in the world, subjugating its people under the cruel regime of Emperor Gradus. Now, they are on the doorsteps of Khalia. The unstoppable juggernaut is ready to conquer the small nation and declare dominance over the world. Kara is desperate to save her people and her nation. She is ready to give everything for her loved ones and prove to the world that she is not a mistake.
