This is the revised and expanded second edition of the book of the same name published in 2016. It retains most of the contents of the first edition, starting with the challenging first chapter titled 'Open Your third eye', exhorting readers to experience the world around them with a fresh expanded awareness of the hazards from various sources, so that they may learn to assess their importance and potential for injury to themselves and others, and damage to assets or the environment etc., and to eliminate the risks or at least minimize their consequences, to themselves and to society at large. It has new chapters on work at height, office and site ergonomics, quantitative risk analysis, and a few other. And, it gives free access to the author's papers on workplace safety and risk management. The author, with sixty years of professional experience in three cultures shares his findings and lessons learnt with his readers in his own informal style.
