He was the Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of the 9th and 10th National People's Congress of P. R. China. Currently, he is Director of the Research Centre on Fictitious Economy and Data Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and he has made an enormous contribution towards the development of the theory of fictitious economy. Ziran Li is Director of the Policy & Regulation Research Division of CFFEX (China Financial Futures Exchange), Institute for Financial Derivatives. Contributor Bio: Cheng, Siwei Cheng Siwei is the Chairman of International Finance Forum, and a former Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China. He is the Dean of the Institute of Management of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He was an academic advisor to the World Bank Institute. His research covers complexity science, fictitious economy, and venture capital. He has been dubbed the 'Father of Venture Capital in China' for his groundbreaking work in this area.
