Bill Thaden lived with us in his later years. He loved to spin yarns and we always enjoyed his stories. This book is about his family and his roots, covering the Von Thadens and the Demers families as well as all of the extended family. It includes some original writing that Bill did that has not been previously published. Memoirs by Ruth Thaden were also found and used. Jerry Papen's work on family genealogy has been invaluable.
