Struggling to cope with his wife's passing, Fencin Whiley has settled into a solitary life centered on running his business, and pursuing his passions for photography and sailing. At the lowest point of despair, Fencin is approached by the FBI and encouraged to become a civilian undercover agent. His assignment: to photograph any dubious activities possibly linked to an American archaeological expedition in Spain. While trying to deter-mine if the group is innocent or guilty of committing a string of crimes overseas, Fencin becomes suspicious of everyone who crosses his path. Even his closest friends, Sam and Shelley Quinn, are placed on Fencin's list of suspects.
