His internal skill developed on a day to day basis to survive in the jungle and often able to get out of harms way to protect himself and the animals in his care. Inka use the sun light as his compass to guide his foot step with in the distance and time frame setting to find his way to and from home. He used paw prints to diffentiate the dangerous species of animal to move away from harms way. He used leaves and fruits for both food and medication like the grocery store and drug store for his sick animals including himself. Water is no exception he shares the same life saving liquid for man's best friend, all his animals.
