The true story of one man's passion for learning.

There were those who said he had no business going back to school at his age, that this was a foolish thing to do. But for Cecil Davis, there was a deep yearning to receive an education, to become a degreed person, which no amount of military honors or business success could satisfy. At 52 years of age, he took a courageous first step toward achieving his dream and enrolled in a junior college in New York City to obtain his GED.
