The Courage Club

?The Courage Club? was partially inspired by the immortal Chaucer?s ?Canterbury Tales.? In Ms. Anderson?s latest book, four dispirited women from different walks of life decide to meet and form a club. During their discussions, they determine it is best to not have a specific purpose and instead opt to relate tales about themselves and people they have encountered. Some tales earn laughs while other stories are more profound, and during the course of their meetings, sister bonds are formed and each changes and grows as they all realize acceptance takes courage to tell strangers life triumphs and defeats and in the process bare one?s soul to each other.
