Donald and Joyce Wellington discovered a hidden door and its key in the house Donald had just inherited from his late Aunt May. Near the hidden door was a note which read, in part: . . . To satisfy Joyce's curiosity, Donald and Joyce pass through the Great Door into a land where magic really works. They soon discover that they must also find the tears of the dragon, a jewel which protects its bearer against evil magic; and they must destroy the malignant wizard who calls himself Seeker -- before Seeker destroys them.
