Double Take Lesa Feazel
Double Take
Lesa Feazel
?Double Take? is at heart an examination of the classic ?good versus evil? theme, but with the subtle thought intertwined, that the good have faults and the evil have reasons. Twins, grown men, who were separated at an early age, and have become who they are today, if not through justification, at least by virtue of circumstances not always under their control. They are quite different, and yet, is it possible they are also much the same? Between them is a good woman, a woman who will find strength where she has been fragile, and will search for trust as an unknown quality, because she has never had cause to trust in the past. She has known one man before, in an unsatisfactory relationship. Now she finds another, with the same rugged good looks that first drew her in; but what are the differences? She constantly compares the two, second guesses her feelings, protecting her heart. These three are inexorably drawn together, one brother tracking down his target, finding more than he bargained for. The men meeting again and yet for the first time, the lady nearly sidelined as she watches the interaction and remembers her fears. Their interplay is full of discovery and regret and hope. How much can be forgiven, how much accepted, and what can be given up to the past?
