This book is Kavita's second collection of poetry entitled Longing. The poems cover Kavita's spiritual and emotional journey. The poems are philosophical in nature. Kavita mimics Emily Dickinson's style of writing poems. Most of the poems are variations of haiku and tanka. The poetess delves in the heart and mind to find hidden truths about life and remains distraught in her anguish.

This room ~ A mirage of peace
and quiet ~ 

This silent river ~ running towards
me ~ longs for my soul!

These currents ~ strike me ~ I am
wakeful ~ as if in a dream ~
