Have you ever read a piece of poetry that has touched you in a long-lasting way? The ?Empty Buckets? collection will not only reach out to you in this way, it will tell you a story based on themes and experiences that make me the man that I am today. Some people know me as a PhD student. Others know me as a customer service manager. There are even those who see me as a young man who loves listening to music and playing basketball all day. I am all of the above. I am a regular guy: a son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. I cherish the diversity in my experiences, which has taught me a great deal about life and helped me to learn more about myself in the process. Through it all I try to remain a fun-loving person with an energetic soul and a big heart. I find value in being able to connect with others and build meaningful relationships. I frown upon status-based exclusion and the abuse of power. Now the only question is - how exactly will I help make this world a better place? My writing provides an outlet for my innermost thoughts and feelings, as well as the opportunity to communicate with others and encourage progressive thinking. This book captures a portion of my life and experiences. It is a form of therapy for me because it has helped me to achieve a greater sense of peace
