On the small coastal town of Block Island Julie Stanford is currently on tour promoting her latest best-selling novel, "Five Hundred Times", symbolic of Harry Wordsworth, a former flame who broke her heart over 20 years earlier. Harry and Julie had a very strong love connection, a torrid love affair, which ended up destroying lives and ending when Harry, guilt-stricken, returned to his alcoholic wife and childhood sweetheart. Life is very different for Julie, who has a very successful writing career and lives on her own. For Harry, life and time have not changed. It's as if time stood still for him.
