Contributor Bio:  Wallace, Karen Karen Wallace is the author of more than one hundred books for children, and the winner of several book awards. She was born in Canada and grew up in a log cabin in the woods of Quebec. She has also lived in France and Ireland, and has worked making pizzas, and singing in a cabaret and a bluegrass band. Writing is her favorite activity. Wallace says she has spent most of her life making up stories.
