It is of the Mihály family forced into migrations by the great depression, a lost war and a failed revolution. The path leads from their ancient homeland in Transylvania (Székelyföld) to Hungary and eventually to North America. The author is a forest engineer (BSF, DFE). She leaves with her husband in the Canadian city of London in the Great Lakes Region.
