They say Manhattan never sleeps? Now I know why, cause I sure can't. Visiting New York City is not the same as living there, especially if you do not have millions to insulate you from how people really live. Having recently been a victim of downsizing and most of the action being in Manhattan why not live there for a year while looking for a new job. What an adjustment! Along the way I observed many interesting things and took in what you can do for free - or even get paid for. What an adventure.
