When Michael and Symone Keenan died, their Will stipulated that Michael?s brother Adam raise their children. Initially he?s relieved because they didn?t have any children - then the lawyer tells him that Symone?s twin sister Sophie was their surrogate and is carrying their child. Adam doesn?t want the child, never wanted to be tied down by any kind of a family but when he hears Sophie?s parents conspiring to take the child away from Sophie, Adam does the unthinkable: he asks Sophie to marry him. Sophie surprises herself by accepting Adam?s proposal. She wants to keep her baby and discovers quickly that she can trust Adam with her secrets, her past and her heart. Together they discover that sometimes two broken people can do nothing else but simply accept the good they bring to each other?s lives as they fight through their childhood demons and become whole together.
