Contributor Bio:  Graneau, Tom, Sr Tom Graneau emigrated with his family from the Caribbean at the age of 17. Unable to read or write when he arrived, he ended up with a bachelor's and master's degrees and a huge college loan debt. After losing his house and declaring bankruptcy, Graneau was inspired to find and solve the root problem of financial bondage. He is an in-demand speaker on financial independence. He provides financial education through counseling, workshops, and presentations to people in the civilian community, government agencies, and the military.
