Beings is a series of picture books about felt-sense, definition and mediation. This is the third volume. The book only follows the previous volume, esoterically and in style. The book contains automatic drawings, or doodling, put into non-repeating images, characters that morph the modes of background impulses, instincts, feelings and intruding thoughts. The drawings are influenced by atmosphere, but also equations of history. They are the author?s percipience, an adding up of raw feelings that look for an allowed narrative that consensual reality blocks, due to fashion restrictions and social politics. Over the years this uncensored cartooning of feelings and perception has developed enough validity for people to understand something of what is meant, rather than reject it as a disturbing realm of psychological play they don?t want to cognise. A veil has been lifted in making these books, that has long been suppressing art and the seemingly intangible realm of feelings.
