Can Beatrice protect Shakespeare if she gives her heart to the Earl? Can either man resist Beatrice's alluring, dark beauty? Can the three bring peace to Elizabeth's kingdom? This story is based on historical research that reveals the complexity of three relationships and the religious and political conflict that was Queen Elizabeth's England.
