Publisher Marketing: Synopsis Introduction: - Rebecca grows up in the 1800 in rural Africa, marries a wealthy Ranch Owner. The era that the book is based on demands that the husband's family live in the same mansion. She clashes with the grandmother - (strict unrelenting harsh old woman) but struggles with support of her husband, and surprisingly Mother-in-law to open her own boutique, not for the elite only she opens her doors to the common folks. She designs fashionable gowns that everyone can afford. She offers a better living to the woman on the Ranch by employing them (No politics in the story) Rebecca and her husband Stephan facilitate a court case against the railroad company that is guilty of fraudulently taken advantage of their poor employees by denying them pensions/wages etc. This happened as a co-incidence as one of her young employees was effected. This leads to a bit of drama, murder and intimidation. She turns the dis-function of a stiff old fashioned family into something special - thus adds the hues of love and friendship to their lives - the rainbow. She later has twins. Through her personality she manages to turn negative relationships to positive with love and manages the biggest hurdle of all to soften the unrelenting stern grandmother to an extent. Her life is a comparison to the rainbow, a hue for everyone we are blessed to meet and know in our lives. It is our own decision how we build our rainbows through our lives. She has since she was a little girl wondered why the rainbow was broken. The human eye can only see the part from heaven to earth, - she finally has a revelation that the other half belongs to God and is our path back to Him when our time on earth is done. The choice of how we colour our lives remains ours.
