Logan?s vengeance It has been four years since Logan left the family ranch in Kansas to join the Union Army. General Lee surrendered a couple month?s earlier and Logan, now a Major, has been considering the military as a career. But the murder of his parents forced his decision to resign and seek vengeance against his parents killer. James Bellows has maintained his ways of robbing and killing since 1861, when he was a Missouri Ruffian. He decided to step up from stealing small land grants from pioneers, and steal one of the largest ranches in west Kansas. With no law that far west, and no gunmen as ranch hands, he believed it would be easy to steal the Circle M Ranch, and start a new life as an honest rancher.
