One day, Thom Thomas decided to make a donation of clothing to a local shelter. Before long, word spread and soon all of Thom's neighbors decided to follow his lead with their own donations of clothing and food. The only problem, as they all soon discovered, was that the local shelter had been closed! What to do? "The Bridge" is a holiday tale about the gift of giving, the gift of sharing and the joy of caring. The illustrations in "The Bridge" are black and white drawings. The author and illustrator invite children of all ages to participate in the story by coloring the illustrations.
