Marisel Herrera is a certified coach, author, motivational speaker, and educator. Marisel is the Owner of MariselSpeaks which offers speaking, coaching, and consulting services aimed at empowering others to go to the next level in their success. Whether speaking to an individual or to standing room only audiences, her authentic, inspiring and bold message is fueled by the lessons she learned throughout her journey from the housing projects of New York City to academia to a Spirit-led life. Characterized by grit and grace, Marisel imparts lessons that affirm the power of faith, education, resiliency, culture, and community to transform one's life. She holds a bachelor's in Social Work from Marist College and a Master's in education in Higher and Adult Education from Arizona State University. Marisel has received leadership training from the Harvard University JFK School of Government, the Center for Creative Leadership, and advanced training and certifications from the Certified Coach Federation (CCF), the Coaching & Positive Psychology (CAPP) Institute, as well as, the Gallup Institute. Marisel is also the author of Puerto Rican Goldilocks A Lyrical Journey Through El Barrio, a poignant memoir about her early years growing up in New York.
