The dunes have always existed between the countries in the North and the two kingdoms of the South. No one dared brave the dangers of the sands. Travel was centered on the great river that traversed the Dunes. This is the story of how that changed. This is a story of choices. This is a tale of enemies that are embittered by years of war and the results of a desire for change. This is a story of a scholar, a princess, a knight, a wanderer, and a witness. The tides of change are sweeping in and some will be pulled with it while others will drown. The world is always smaller than we believe.
