We all search for that special person. The person we believe is the match for our soul. The one who compliments us at every turn. The one who will love us unconditionally. That individual who accepts our negatives as well as our positives: even when the bad outweighs the good. It is ingrained in us that our soul mate is usually one of the opposite sex. However, this is not always true. Love, true love, comes in different forms. Yes it can be between a man and a woman but is does happen between individuals of the same sex. This is the case of Mona and Roxie. Each woman goes on this journey in different ways. One knows who she loves and always has, while the other is caught by surprise. The ride is bumpy and painful for both, but in the end they would each take the journey again just to have each other.
