From Snagboats to Cannon Fodder

This is an effort of fiction about a stowaway that became a worker on a snagboat, for years. He ended that career in St. Louis harbor and worked there pulling up wrecks and debris until the job ended. From there he headed east and joined the army in world war 1. Here is where fact took over, when I used an actual diary of a local WWl veteran as the boys way history. I hope you enjoy the combination of fact and fiction, and enjoy the actual diary!
