." El Bethel means the God of the house of God. El Bethel was where Jacob got it right. He completely repented and allowed God to clean his heart while he cleaned up his own home. It was here at A & T, in the middle of one of the most trying times of my life when Bethel, became El Bethel to me. It was in my mess, running from my mental illness and all of my problems, when God revealed Himself to me. I began to attend church and I stopped drinking and going to the parties. Something in me burned and refused to give up. Even though I was sick, confused and lonely, I was exactly where God wanted me to be.
