Dig visits the Tell Museum and receives the message retrieved from an ancient holographic record from Mercedes. AI York surprises Dig with one of three versions of a 20th century woman and Maddox makes an appearance after being a prisoner on Fembay. The new mission is to Glacier code nae Iceberg as there are reported gold, quartz and other precious metals to be claimed by miners and the Scabs, Astro Pirates and others are head for a collision and war over mining claims. Glacier is an unknown, unexplored orbital and Dig and Maddox are to try and oversee the protection of the possible life forms to be found. Mercedes leaves a message for Dig which gives him hope.
