If a band is lucky, it will have its moment in the sun, fleeting as it may be. But after that moment passes and the shine wears off, the story is far from over. Speakerdust tells the tale of the titular rock band, long defunct, twenty years removed from their mid-90s heyday. As the anniversary of their legendary album's release approaches, the now-middle-aged former members decide their moment wasn't long enough. They each struggle with their individual and intertwining issues as they try to pull together for one final gig - one last chance to bask in the sunlight.
