Echo has survived living on the street and giving birth to her baby daughter, conceived by her step-father in an act of rape. Daily she gives thanks to God for providing a rescuer for her and her younger sister, Rhylie, in the form of her dear friend, Baylee. She was thirteen-years-old when she gave birth to her beautiful daughter, Marki; and although Marki has been adopted by a loving couple, Echo is blessed to be able to remain involved with her daughter.
