For Catherine, Hawaii completed a decades long journey (or series of journeys) through all 50 states. (For Cheryl, that journey had been completed on a previous trip to Alaska.) Their five-day trip to "the Big Island" may not have been as long as either of them might have preferred, but it was a great introduction. This book shares dozens of their photographs - from their stay in Kona to their dinner cruise and whale watching expeditions to their drive across the island to see the volcano.
