It's the simple things that make me happy. I find that to be true for most people. Think back to when you were a child sitting with a coloring book carefully choosing just the right colors to make the picture something to call your very own. Wasn't that a happy, satisfying and relaxing experience? As adults we can do the same thing. This can be a way to destress, unwind and relax. Actually it's a form of meditation. Allow yourself to become focused and mindful while coloring these beautiful detailed designs. I hope you feel peace and contentment and become inspired as you read the messages accompanying each picture. The next part of the journey is to practice gratitude each day. I have incorporated a Gratitude Journal within this book. Gratitude and its practice does not have to be complicated. Begin with the simple things: waking up to a new day, seeing a loved one laugh, drinking that first cup of coffee each day, seeing the wonder of a beautiful blue sky and fluffy white clouds. There is always, always, always something to be grateful for. Make the decision to focus on your blessings rather than your problems. Remember, whatever you think about expands.
