Anna has written this book to assist other victims of abuse to realize that the predators do not control your life. You can make choices about who you are and how you live. Some of the effects of abuse are permanent. These can be turned to good attributes in your life. For instance, a startle reflex is a good safety warning. There is an increased awareness of the nature of people that can be trusted to keep you safe without you being afraid. There is help for us to make good choices and live a victorious life in spite of the evil of others. Getting the help you need to heal is imperative to living a full and useful and peaceful life.
