Rachael finds herself growing more and more attracted to David, a handsome local resident, and she feels ready to move on, hoping to finally put her unlucky past relationship behind her. Unfortunately, Grace Loven, an annoyingly attractive busybody, has set her sights on David, too, and was clever enough to snag him for the upcoming Sadie Hawkins square dance. Not wanting to go alone, Rachael traps herself by asking poor, simple Andy Smith to be her partner. Now she has to learn how to dance. It doesn't help that a ghost, who was a dance teacher in his past life, decides to take up residence in Rachael's house and get involved with her lessons. Nor does it help that David's twin, Dragan, returns from the dead and brings along two desperate men searching for the money he owes them. It takes a lot of ingenuity to figure out how to deal with all the problems life seems to be heaping onto Rachael's shoulders, but if she doesn't figure things out soon, she won't be making it to that dance, or any dance ever again.
