Brian Pereboom, a composer and music theorist from Los Angeles, California, has written two books in preparation for his piano series: Scales and Arpeggios Exercise and Piano Exercises. Pereboom has developed a music theory, and his upcoming treatise explains how he links harmony and form to elements of visual art and the emotional expression in human speech. The Oracle Suite, a piano suite based on the book of Proverbs, is just the first of a series of Pereboom's innovative compositional style.
