The Samurai Way Grant a Miller

Bushido, the Way of the Warrior, was cultivated in the 7th century by the Samurai of Japan, and is carried on to modern times through the practice of traditional martial arts found around the globe. We can see the universality of Bushido by its adaptation in nearly every continent and in hundreds of cultures, spread by the martial arts. This book will examine several marital arts disciplines, and find within them the Bushido codes and conduct that have survived the passage of time. One particular samurai family will be studied, and we will see how their art and bushido codes have been spread throughout the world.
