This is Samir Sobhy's first non-fiction prose in English. It contains articles and essays he wrote over a number of years while in the United States and Egypt. These pieces deal with diverse subjects, touching upon Egypt, the United States, and the Middle-East; as well as politics, international relations, the media, travel, and even some philosophical themes! He has written these articles and essays to express his thoughts, ideas, feelings ... and frustrations! None of them has been published before, but he wanted to share them with the readers, with the aim of offering his points of view on the subjects he dealt with. After hesitating on their presentation, he decided a chronological order would be more appropriate, though some of articles deal more or less with the same subject.
