Jayne Hope is a child of the sixties. She had a happy and idyllic childhood on the Isle of Man. She led a normal rebellious teenage life and wanted to break away from the suffocating comfort of a small community. In her quest to find her true self, she has an effect on many people's lives. Her attitude to life leaves a lasting impression on quite a few of those lives. She is one of those people who can drift in and out of your life without you noticing until she is no longer there. It is then that you realise just how much she influenced you and your view on life. This book examines this experience of knowing, and yet not knowing, someone who has that kind of effect on your life. The experiences are at various stages of Jayne's life; when she felt that, for one reason or another, it was best to move on in another direction. It attempts to draw a picture of her and tries to illustrate how we all see things in a different way to what is actually meant.. Getting close to Jayne is very difficult but everyone has had a brief and worthwhile experience of her during their lifetime.
