When I became a Christian, the first thing I wanted to do was be baptized. I didn't know what it meant or why I should, but I knew that it was something that I needed to do. I had believed on Jesus; I had given Him my heart and I wanted to identify with the cause of Christ. Within the first few weeks of being saved I was baptized. Later on as I grew in knowledge and understanding I learned the significance of what I had done. I personally think that the experience would have meant so much more to me if someone had taken the time to share the Word with me regarding this subject. It is for this reason that I write this book.
