After the death of her mother, Mellannie Brown's life had always being in constant movement. Traveling between different countries became her nomadic nature. This trait she had inherited from her grandfather Vincent. Until the day they returned to their hometown of Chicago. All to her surprise, they stayed there more than a year. What she soon noticed, that upon returning to the old town she lived all her childhood, had awaken old and strange memories from that period of her life. Only to discover that she was the descendant of a very unique kind of humans. These beings came from a world known as Veront. The citizens of Veront had been waiting for her to return to become their new queen and save them from the merciless persecutors and their new leader.
